If like me you need to write a lot each day or you need to read loads of stuff on the internet and do lots of internet work then why not do your work on the go it can be very nice sometimes to sit in the park or even get a little work done on the train before you get there? I have learned that it’s much easier to work on the move than it is to work at home. You might think that there are more distractions when you’re out and about but i can tell you that this isn’t true…

There are actually more distractions at home (if you work there) or in the office with the same people everyday. You are actually less likely to be distracted from going online and doing your work with a dongle when you’re out and about than you are in your office or at home because the people who are passing you by don’t care about what you’re doing and have absolutely no interest in distracting you from your job.

I often take my work out on the road and do some writing on a train or in a park using my internet dongle and my laptop simply because of this reason. Distraction is the workers enemy so remember you can avoid it by doing your work on the move. Get a dongle and plug in on the train or in the park.

There are so many advantages to this i am not even sure where i can begin but a good start would be the fact that you can get on the internet any time anywhere for leisure or in an emergency an internet dongle will help you to no end so the next chapter would be if you want on what type would you like? There are many types of tariff to choose from before you have got on to network providers which is where this site can help you out a great deal.

Check Reviews And Compare for Internet Dongle Deals

Pay as you go dongles would be fantastic if you are unsure wether you would like to tie into a long term contract because you can have access to the internet as and when and if you do not have alot of money to spare at some point you just do not top it up very similar to a mobile telephone. Contract internet dongles can have advantages also being that as long as the bill is paid you will never run out of data allowance and sometimes you can get slightly better deals out of these because of the fact you are tied in for instance you may get a free laptop or a lower tariff for a specified amount of time all these factors need carefull consideration so get on the comparison table weigh up the pro’s and cons make your informed choice to enable yourself to have access to the internet anytime anywhere.

The last thing to consider that may help you out is to take a look at our dongle reviews they are very comprehensive and all add up to helping you make a an educated and informative decision on choosing the best internet dongle that suits you and is reflective of your budget and lifestyle.

That tiny little USB stick that you have in the side of your laptop is allowing us access to the world! I cannot put it any less dramatically because it isn’t really is it? When you consider what tasks that tiny little usb stick can accomplish you have to admit that going online with an internet dongle when you’re out and about with your laptop is really something else…

If someone had told me i’d be able to do this 30 years ago i’d have laughed my head of at them. The technology moves so fast it’s virtually unbelievable. The other inventions have simply followed the internet dongle, but they haven’t out dated it yet, the dongle is still strong this device could only now be improved unless someone re-inveted the way in which we connect to and surf the net. You can have mobile phones now that allow you to surf the internet and go online wherever you want to, but they still haven’t managed to come up with anything better than the dongle because the donlge does a specific task; it allows you laptop computer to go online anywhere you want it to and as good as mobile telephones can be they are not always as practical as your laptop.

You can’t beat having a screen you can actually see and read and a keypad that you can actually feel and use competently can you? And this is why all the mobile internet devices in the world will never really beat the dongle and a laptop computer. Size is everything!

So weve established an internet dongle is a good device to have when it comes to using your lap top on the go and the fact you are reading this is a good indication that you are considering purchasing one of these devices for some use or another wether its work on the go or letting your children play some games at home without disturbing your use of or drawing off precious bandwith of the router you have at home, so where do you start when it comes to getting an internet dongle there are so many different networks and types of dongle to choose from it can be overwhelming not to say intimidating, lucky for you we are here to help with a horde of reviews and comparisons to save you the hassle of trawling through the internet and making notes of various sites ,tarrifs and network providers.

Compare Dongles To Get The Best Price On Pay As You Go

Use our comparison tables and read reviews to to see what suits you best you may find pay as you go internet dongles the best for you if your type of person that does not like to commit to contracts however if you are more suited to a contract there is a chance you may be able to grab yourself a better deal everything has its ups and downs which all needs to be weighed up before you consider what is best for you and relavant to your lifestyle and reflective of your monthly budget.

No, it’s not a bad advert for sex education, it’s about information technology. The best way to introduce your kids to wireless internet (though it is likely they may already know about from friends and school) and mobile internet is to get them online with a laptop supervise them and let them learn how much it costs and where they can surf. The best way to learn is to get stuck in and do it a hands on approach is always much more fun than just the theory, so we think this is the best…

A pay as you go broadband dongle will enable your kids to get online and surf when they’re out and about. It’s important to allow them to experience the joys of information technology since this is the world they will inevitably inherit eventually; and to enter into it unprepared is to accept a life of dreadful existence and ignorance.

When you get them a pay as you go dongle you can top it up for them to begin with and then teach them to manage their money too, so that they can understand how long they can go online, where, and how much it will cost. Then you can pass the charges onto them to fund themselves. This is sure to teach them, not only about IT but also about money management. You really should consider this for as far as a simple gift goes this can teach your children alot about the benefits of being wise with thier own money.

Teach your kids To Use The Best Broadband Dongle

If you think this would be a good option for you and your children id advise you take a look at the comparison tables on this website to help you make an informed decision about which type of dongle you would like as well as working out which network provider would best suit you, you may already have a mobile phone with a preffered provider alternitavely you may not rate your provider that well and feel a different one would better suit your needs for a broadband dongle.

The first thing id advise is to check network coverage in the area you are most likely to be using your broadband dongle they all have different masts in different places making one locale alot better for a particular provider than another it may also be a good idea to get friends opinions of which providers are good in the areas you live safe in the knowledge you are always likely to hear who is dissapointed with what.

Once you made a firm decision on who you would like to provide your network the only thing after that really is to pick yourself a good deal for the right price i could not possibly advise you on this because everyone has different needs be it from price theyd like to pay to bandwidth and usage allowance there are a multitude of deals some with freebies to again just go straight to the comparison tables on this site to get a good idea straight away without having to research the internet for a long time making notes and doing the comparisons yourself.

Internet dongles are not likely to go out of circulation at the moment besides phones they are they are the best way to connect to the internet when you are out and about, they are perfectly future proof, as long as you have a laptop computer that is. Wherever you have a laptop you’ll need a dongle to get online…

The future of the dongle also depends on another rather important thing – price. The prices are pretty damn reasonable for the majority of dongle suppliers and it isn’t like it was in the old days; getting mobile internet access isn’t a futuristic concept anymore so virtually anyone can afford to be online wherever they are in the world, at whatever time they choose to go online.

When you choose your wireless dongle you need to be sure that you will be able to get online where you are in the world if you only have a laptop. There are still some areas that suffer poor connections due to the fact that they are far away from a telephone exchange or they are simply in the middle of nowhere with no mobile phone signal; places like this are terrible to get broadband.

Purchase a Good Internet Dongle Deal

If you go ahead and purchase a good dongle deal when you live in one of these areas you cannot expect the dongle supplier to return your money because you didn’t do your research. You really must look into it carefully before you choose. This is probably the only obstacle the internet has yet to get over, but this will soon be remedied hopefully with the introduciton of fibre optic technology.

These days most companies cover nearly all areas but it is still worth a check with your preffered network provider to be sure once you have found out you can move on to grabbing a good deal there is alot out there to choose from and it can seem daunting at times but there is no need to fear as the handy comparison tool on this website could save you alot of bother.

So what is it you would like a wireless internet dongle for ? do you find you or your children on the internet all day playing online games or do you only use the internet a little just to check your social network from time to time ?? all these factors need to be considered before making a decision so you can get the best deal for you. There is such a range of deals on the market you can really narrow them down so you find one that is almost tailored to you and your needs.

Once youve got an idea you can make a choice from either large or small download speeds and wether you need a large data allowance or not these are factors that can make a considerable difference in the price you pay for top up or contract which is usually the dominating factor in purchasing anything if you do have alot of money to spare and time to surf the net it may be easier for you to grab a contract deal with high downloads and allowances on the other hand if you are on a budget pay as you go may be the path to choose as they offer more variety.

Well this question depends entirely on when you actually read this post and in fairness is also heavily subject to opinion. But considering that my information at the time of writing this post is correct, you will be able to find an example of what we think is the best one at the moment below…

However, you must also understand that this is purely subjective. You may not require a dongle deal like i have for example. You might not worry about your download allowance, whereas i may be very concerned about it; it all depends on who is buying the dongle when you’re working out which dongle is the best.

One of the current contenders is the every popular Vodafone mobile broadband dongle. This dongle offers the following:

Free USB dongle

7.2Mb speed.

3Gb downloads.

12 month contract.

£15 a month.

Obviously the choosing of this top favourite doesn’t include those offering free laptops, they are in a different class and clearly need complaining about seperately.

But if you want a good reliable dongle deal from a reputable company then Vodafone’s dongle is the one for you; you really won’t get much better if you don’t need a laptop to go with it. So give it a go.

However can i advise you first check the coverage in your area before you start spending your money although most network providers do cover nearly all areas these days its still worth a check as to avoid disapointment it would be such a shame to go through all the hassle of comparing all of these deals finally finding the right one paying for it and when it gets you finding out it barely ever has a good signal.

Good Coverage With Vodafone Dongles

You will more than likely find you do get good coverage on the vodafone network so after that you can start deciding which type of deal you want get yourself the main thing to consider in this is making sure it is reflective of your budget and personal needs there are many different reasons someone may want or need a wireless internet dongle some people use them for work whilst they are on their way on the train others for gaming and so on its factors like these that will help you decide wether first you would like a contract or a pay as you go deal and from there the amounts of data and download speeds you would like.

Vodafone offer a range of deals on contracts or pay as you go if you are lucky you may find some deals with freebies thrown in such as free laptops or games consoles if you only use the internet sparingly say to check the news from time to time or e mails perhaps a pay as you go deal would be the best for you because you can just top these dongles up with cash as and when making them easy in the sense that you are not tied in to any long term contract otherwise if you do alot of work or online gaming a contract with large data allowance and fast download speeds.

This is dependent on what you want from your laptop really, but there are a number of good offers out there at the moment. Getting a dongle deal that secures you a free laptop PC is your complete solution to mobile internet surfing and it needn’t cost you the earth either…

There are usually several deals that are quite similar when it comes to the free laptop ones, but at the moment there is a clear leader in popularlity. This offer is from 3 Mobile, and they have yet to be beaten on service and price as far as the free laptop is concerned.

So what’s the dongle deal?

The deal is this. You get yourself a free Compaq Presario CQ61 worth over £350 retail price. This particular laptop comes windows 7 ready and has its dongle for free! The laptop is a great one for the amount it will cost you per month to have your wireless connection too.

It’ll cost you a perfectly reasonable £30 a month on a 2 year contract. The two year contract is perfectly understandable, before you start complaining about the length, especially when you consider the value of the free laptop.

What else does this price buy you?

Well for this £30 you also get the following pretty standard features (some are more impressive than others):

5Gb of dowloads

Up to 7Mbs speed

Free dongle.

For all that’s listed above, we think that 3 Mobile have got it right finally, and they are offering a pretty middle of the road, reasonably priced dongle deal. It gets our thumbs up today.

O2 are on the market to get your dongle business and they’re offering it at £10 just like Orange. You will probably remember the review of Orange a few days ago, if not you can always go back and read it now if you want. Let’s see how the two of them compare…

Considering that they are the same price there are quite a number of differences between these two dongle deals. They are both offering their £10 dongle deal on an 18 month contract, which sadly comes nowhere near the top guys who are offering much better packages on a 12 month contract for only a fiver more, but if you want a regular cheap connection then Orange or O2 would be the ones you’d look at.

However, for a budget connection at the same price as Orange’s dongle deal, O2 slips far from the mark unfortunately. They let themselves down considerably on their speed. Their dongle deal speed is only up to 3.6mb. Now some of you out there might be saying “well that’s not bad if you only want to surf the internet on the way to work or something” and you would be right; but why pay £10 for 3.6mb when you can get 7.4mb for the same price from Orange?

It isn’t as if O2 even make up for it with a greater download allowance (that let Orange down), because this is just the same as Orange! Get it together O2 and look at your competition, that’s what i say!

A dongle deal that’s good for everyone? Are you kidding? No we’re not folks. There is a dongle deal out there for everyone now, and this is a result of just how popular the dongles have become (or how essential they’ve become). Every laptop needs a dongle to connect to the internet whilst mobile, whether it’s an onboard one or one you plug in; you still need one…

And this website exist in order to provide you with the best possible advice on how to make that informed decision. Which dongle do you go for? Well, who knows? No, that’s not me being sarcastic and unhelpful, it’s a good question, and the answer is – you know! There has only ever been one person who knows what sort of dongle you need online and it’s you. Who else is going to know how often you’re online and how much download allowance you need? Not me that’s for sure, and although they’d like to pretend they know, none of the dongle providers know either.

So you’ve worked it out all by yourself, now all you need to do is go and get the dongle that you need. This is where we can help however. Without telling you which dongle to go for, we can merely tell you which donle offers what, then you see it’s up to you to place yourself in the right category.

This is a post about some troublesome areas of connectivity. You should read this before considering various dongle broadband connection packages that advertise broadband speeds that are very high, you may not be able to get these speeds…

There are several factors to consider when identifying bad areas for mobile broadband, and most of these are pretty much the same as if you were to have a connection with wires at home. Still in many rural areas the connection remains bad, and it doesn’t look like the mobile phone companies are going to do much about it. You’d think in this day and age of communications you’d be pretty much able to take your mobile internet device anywhere in the country with your dongle and be able to get online at the same speed as you would in a wi-fi cafe or something like that.

Again with broadband, it also makes no difference whatsoever if you’re wireless or not when it comes to losing speed in the evening. When half the world is online you will always struggle to get online, and if you can get online it will almost always be slow to repsond. This is not your dongle, it’s merely the time of day.

But do be aware that when you buy an internet dongle you will not necessarily open a magic world of fast, reliable internet connections, you may be just as bad if not worse!

When you’re in business you need something reliable and straightforward with no fancy trimmings don’t you? Yes? Well then you need a dongle for your laptop that is specifically designed to give you what you need and nothing more for good value…

We’ve already looked at T-Mobile and their business dongle, and their very competitive rate i might add, but now we turn our attention to another big boy in the wireless internet market and their excellent dongle deal.

Vodafone is the other one on everyone’s lips these days and the dongle deal they offer is pretty damn close to that of T-Mobile. Vodafone also offer their business dongle package at £8.51, obviously rather shrewdly keeping up with the Jones’s! However, Vodafone do try to top the market here by offering us a more wildly exciting speed of up to 7.2 Mb. But you have to ask yourself, for business purposes do you really need that extra speed anyway? Not really i hear you say. Well in that case do you want to sign up for a 24 month contract rather than the 18 months offered by T-Mobile? No-one wants to be tied to a contract any longer than they have to be so i am assuming that you don’t.

Well that speed is really the only thing that Vodafone has going for it; that and the price. But if you’re considering trading in the speed for the extra contract length then think again because, as i said in my T-Mobile article, times change quick and you might just see a better dongle deal down the line. Wireless internet providers are always competing and things will become much cheaper very soon!
