If like me you need to write a lot each day or you need to read loads of stuff on the internet and do lots of internet work then why not do your work on the go it can be very nice sometimes to sit in the park or even get a little work done on the train before you get there? I have learned that it’s much easier to work on the move than it is to work at home. That tiny little USB stick that you have in the side of your laptop is allowing us access to the world! I cannot put it any less dramatically because it isn’t really is it? Granted, there are enormous benefits from getting an iPhone or something like that that can go online and allow you access to everything you want, emails and videos from the net and all that sort of stuff, but what do you do if you’re an old timer like me and you can barely see the damn screen? No, it’s not a bad advert for sex education, it’s about information technology. The best way to introduce your kids to wireless internet (though it is likely they may already know about from friends and school) and mobile internet is to get them online with a laptop supervise them and let them learn how much it costs and where they can surf.
